Sorry, this item is out of stock.

These are a fantastic quality pair of Victorian silver salt pots with a super weight of 9 tr.oz. These large, open salts are in the typical cauldron form and stand on three lion's mask feet. They are embossed around the sides with flowers, initialled to the cartouches and gilt (gold-wash) to the interiors to protect the silver from the corrosive effects of salt. They were made by premier specialist hollowware makers and are of far superior quality to the majority to be found. They remain in excellent condition.
