With an iconic modernist form - this is a superbly stylish pair of Georg Jensen pitchers. Johan Rohde's 432E design was originally conceived in 1920, but was considered too advanced for the time. Production was held back until 1925 since when it has become an icon of 20th century design.

With their slender baluster form and elegantly curved silver and ebony handles, the style of this pair of silver ewers is perfection itself with timeless appeal. They are good sized wine or water pitchers with a light spot hammered finish and nice solid feel in the hand. The condition is excellent and both bear a full set of post-1945 Georg Jensen Sterling marks to the underside.
