Attributed to the Dutch designer Jans Eisenloeffel (1876-1957), the square based candlestick with simulated rivetted strap-work is amongst the most successful of all designs to emanate from the Arts & Crafts period and remains highly popular today. Standing 8.5" high, this handsome pair of Edwardian period candlesticks were made by James Dixon & Sons and are in fine condition with well-defined decoration, screw-in capitals and removable sconce nozzles.
