A very rare example of a novelty silver pepper pot in the form of a rocking horse. We have not previously encountered this model before. The pot is loaded with pepper by removing the head. The pepper is poured from the chest of the horse. In true rocking horse style the pot will rock with a gentle push. Excellent condition and another ingenious piece from Saunders & Shepherd.
