Sorry, this item is out of stock.

The "mussel" is the most exquisite of all antique silver caddy spoons and this is a fantastic example. Designed and made by Francis Higgins, the most innovative specialist spoon maker of the Victorian period, this caddy spoon has the bowl cleverly modelled as a deep mussel shell and is attached to a gilt handle with lily pad tendrils. The spoon is as good as the photos suggest and is in excellent condition. A truly prized example for any collection!
