William Mill was working in the Scottish town of Montrose during the latter years of George III and the early years of George IV. This oar pattern silver teaspoon is engraved with a contemporary to manufacture script monogram and bears the "WM" maker's mark alongside the town's rose mark struck twice. This rare Scottish provincial spoon is in great condition.
