Limerick Toddy Ladle, 1800

Sold
Toddy Ladle - Celtic Point - Limerick circa 1800 by William Fitzgerald- 15.8cm long; 22g - YP/2085
Irish provincial silver is always a rare treat and this toddy ladle is a particularly good find. It is elegantly shaped in the Celtic Point design and bears an original engraved crest to the front terminal. The marks to the reverse side can be clearly seen as the fleur-de-lys of Limerick and the "WFG" maker's mark for William Fitzgerald. The ladle is in fine condition throughout.
