Liberty & Co. Silver Medea Cake Forks, 1935 Cased

Made in the popular Medea Pattern that was designed by Archibald Knox exclusively for Liberty & Co. and the end of the 19th century, this set of six silver cake forks are in fantastic condition and well preserved by their original presentation case.

Cake or pastry forks were a favoured wedding gift during the 1930's and this set was no doubt given to celebate some event. The case shows some foxing to the silk lined interior, but otherwise this set is in pristine condition and each piece has a clear set of Birmingham hallmarks for Liberty & Co..
