A large Georgian period soup ladle in original condition with an interesting engraved inscription to the reverse of the stem reading "The gift of the respected inhabitants of Sutton in the Isle of Ely to the Reverend Hicks Deacle". In addition to this interesting history is an impressive engraved crest of a eagle with flower in it's beak standing on a turret.
