Laceback Trefid, Exeter 1702

A documentary set of Britannia Standard silver hallmarks for the second year of the Exeter assay office on a very good laceback trefid spoon. The spoon has a typical laceback design to the reverse of the bowl and to the front of the handle terminal - the former is a little soft from table contact, but the latter remains very crisp. The reverse of the handle bears a dated set of engraved betrothal initials. The spoon has a generous sized bowl that retains its original shape.
