The Service
We are pleased to be offering a top quality silver canteen for 12 place settings in the popular La Regence pattern in a “as new” condition.
Each piece of cutlery is in the attractive La Regence pattern, the design of which was based on a mid-18th century French flatware service.
The service provides for 11 pieces per 12 place settings with the addition of a good range of serving items and a 3 piece carving set. The service has a full range of dining pieces, including fish eaters, coffee spoons and small dessert “pastry” forks with cutting tine. The servers include a large and heavy soup ladle, 4 serving spoons and a sauce ladle, in addition to other ancillary pieces. The silver handled table and dessert knives are filled and fitted with best quality stainless steel blades.
Every piece was made by Carrs of Sheffield in the Year 2000 and in addition to the standard hallmarks bear the additional commemorative mark to celebrate the Millennium. Every piece is in mint, unused polished condition and benefits from having no personalised engravings to them.

Optional Extras
We have a separate 8 place settings service in this pattern - with matching hallmarks to this service. The two services together would give 20 place settings for the main dining pieces.
Presentation
This canteen is supplied within a top quality wooden case. The knives are fitted in to slots in two rows within the lid and the all the other items are spread between the base and a removable tray. The soup ladle is too large for the box and is supplied in a blue tarnish free bag.
