Irish Bright-cut Star Sugar Tongs
Sugar Tongs - Bright-cut star - Dublin circa 1800 by J. Keating - 15cm long; 38g - PG/4242</p>
A beautiful pair of silver sugar tongs in the most diagnostic of Irish flatware patterns. This pair of tongs are in fabulous condition with crisp engraving. These tongs bear the crest of a lion holding a pennant to the outside of the bow and has a vacant cartouche to both arms. The two hallmarks are located inside the bow: "JK" maker's mark and Hibernia.
