Irish Bright-cut Caddy Spoon, 1790

This is a rare 18th century Irish silver caddy spoon with clear and appropriate marks for the maker John Osborne who was working in Dublin at the latter end of the century. The handle is decorated with bright-cut engraving around a vacant cartouche and the bowl is fluted. A scarce spoon.
