This is a great example of an 18th century silver soup ladle in excellent condition.
Measuring 12" in length, this Old English pattern ladle has a generously sized, deep round bowl and plain handle with the bonus of an attractive engraved crest to the terminal that depicts a stag. the ladle was made by the specialist spoon maker Stephen Adams and has a good set of bottom-struck hallmarks to the reverse side.
