Marrow Scoop - London 1783 by Thomas Wallis - 24.5cm long; 48g - TF/8923

This is a great example of an antique silver marrow scoop made by the top spoonmaker Thomas Wallis.

Dating from the George III period, this double-ended marrow scoop takes the typical form and has an original monogram of script engraved ownership initials to the reverse of the larger scoop. The scoop is in excellent condition with a good, clear set of London hallmarks.
