This is a scarce example of a George I silver marrow spoon with its scoop turned in the opposing direction to the table spoon bowl.
Made by the top spoonmaker William Scarlett, this rare rattail spoon has a great set of Britannia Standard hallmarks to the central shank and is in excellent condition with a good, antique patina.
