Marrow Spoon/Scoop - Rattail; Reversible - London 1714 by William Scarlett - 20.9cm long; 47.5g - LS/4048

This is a scarce example of a George I silver marrow spoon with its scoop turned in the opposing direction to the table spoon bowl.

Made by the top spoonmaker William Scarlett, this rare rattail spoon has a great set of Britannia Standard hallmarks to the central shank and is in excellent condition with a good, antique patina.
