What a lovely looking silver dessert spoon complete with a rare set of hallmarks!
The spoon is attractively bright-cut engraved to the front and has a superb engraved crest of a hound to the front terminal. It was made by the specialist spoonmaker Thomas Eustace and is in excellent condition.
The Exeter hallmarks to the reverse include the rare incuse duty mark that was only used for an eighteen month period between 1784 and 1786.
