This is a superb Victorian silver scent bottled with enamelled flowers to the front.

Made by the great Sampson Mordan, this lovely, oval perfume flask fits beautifully in the hand and would have been carried around in a handbag or purse. It has a tightly fitting screw-cap cover and a charming bouquet of colourful enamelled flowers to the front.

The condition is excellent with no damage to the enamel and a dent-free surface. The London hallmarks for Sampson Mordan are all clearly displayed on the gilt section of the thread and are partly rubbed to the cover. A fabulous piece of top quality Sampson Mordan silver!
