Elgin Table Spoon, 1820

Table Spoon - Fiddle pattern - Elgin circa 1820 by Thomas Stewart - 23cm long; 72g - LM/7131
This is a fabulous fiddle pattern table spoon with a nice solid feel, a superb unworn bowl and a very crisp set of Scottish provincial marks. The marks are "ELN" for Elgin and "TS" for the maker Thomas Stewart who was working in this north eastern Scottish town during the early part of the 19th century. The spoon is in fine condition and bears original script initials to the terminal.
