Dry Champagne Bottle Ticket

Sold
Wine Label - Dry Champagne; Cut-cornered Rectangle - London circa 1835 by Charles Rawlings & William Summers - 4.6cm wide; 11.5g - HN/4877</p>
The scarce name of "DRY CHAMPAGNE" is pierced to this cut-cornered oblong silver wine label. The piercing has partly cut out the hallmarks to the reverse, but the presence of the CR/WS maker's mark for Rawlings & Summers can accurately date it. This bottle ticket is in fine condition.
