Mustard Pot - Plain Drum-shape with Blue Glass Liner - London 1834 by Barnards - 5cm high; 6.6cm diameter base; 9.5cm wide (incl. handle); 130g weight of silver - NP/4975

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a good quality example of a William IV period mustard pot made by the premier silversmithing company of Edward Barnard & Sons. The drum-shaped body of the pot has been fashioned from a good gauge of silver giving the piece a nice hefty weight and feeling of quality. The flat hinged cover is equipped with a cast shell thumb-piece and is engraved with an original crest. The Bristol blue glass liner is original and although there are two chips to the rim these cannot be seen when the liner is in place. A fine quality piece in overall good condition.
