Novelty Cow Creamer

Sold
Cream Jug - Cow - London 1990 by Richard Comyn - 152mm long x 102mm high; 185g - BK/3565
This is a great example of a novelty silver cream jug in the form of a cow. This model is a fine quality copy of the mid 18th century examples by John Schuppe. The hinged opening on the cow's saddle is applied with a fly - as per the originals. The jug is held with the looped tail and the cream is poured out through the mouth. This cow creamer has a good hefty weight and is in fine original condition.
