Mustard Pot - Square, Art Deco - London 1934 by Charles Boyton - 5.5cm square; 5cm high - DA/9735
Stylish in both design and construction, this lovely mustard pot was made by Charles Boyton, one of the premier protagonists of the English silver Art Deco movement. It has a square form with cut corners and stands on four angular bracket feet. The handle, finial and hinged cover all portray these angular features that typify Art Deco silver. The original frosted glass inset mirrors the shape of the square body and is a perfect fit.
This elegant silver mustard pot is in fine condition and is appropriately and clearly hallmarked and includes the "Charles Boyton" facsimile signature.
