Sold
Caddy Spoon - Cast shell bowl and convolute snail handle - London 1839 by W Theobalds and W Atkinson - 45mm long; 45 grams weight - Ref. No.: HU/9462
A superb quality cast caddy spoon in a form produced by Paul Storr. The lesser known makers of this spoon were Storr's equal when it came to flatware and were deservedly suppliers to Garrards (the Crown Jewellers to Queen Victoria). This spoon is of exceptional quality with a good weight and finely detailed modelling to the shell bowl, convolute handle and the snail's shell at the terminal..
