This is a fine quality cast silver wine label, pierced for Sherry and made by William Knight during the reign of King William IV.
The label features a Classical scene with a mask of Dionysus to the centre attended to by putti bearing cups of wine and baskets of grapes. The label has a solid feel in the hand and is in fine original condition.
