Caddy Spoon - Simulated Filigree Bowl & Bifurcated Handle - Birmingham 1809 by Cocks & Bettridge - 6.5cm long; 7.8g - JJ/9361
This is a stunning Georgian period silver tea caddy spoon from the workshop of Cocks & Bettridge. The quality of the workmanship inside the bowl is amazing with a simulated filigree centre surrounded by embossed beads and scrolls. The handle is an attractive feature too with an engraved leaf motif and bifurcating where it joins the bowl. The cartouche remains free from engraving and the condition is excellent throughout. A fabulous spoon!
