Sorry, this item is out of stock.

The filigree work in the bowl of this dainty silver tea caddy spoon is simply exquisite. The middle years of the 18th century's first decade was the zenith of filigree production with an influx to Birmingham of Italian immigrants specialising in the art. This Georgian caddy spoon is elegantly decorated to the handle with no personalised engravings and is a superb example of Joseph Willmore's work. Excellent condition throughout with no loss nor damage to the delicate filigree insert.
