This good-looking George IV period silver wine label is engraved with the scarce name Bucellas to the front.
The label is rectangular in form with a gadroon border, that is typical of the period, interspersed with a shell. It was made by William Knight and is in excellent condition.
Bucellas is a Portuguese wine (predominantly white) from the Lisbon area.
