Caddy Spoon - Cast with basket of flowers - London 1854 by George Adams - 102mm long - RD/3230
A very fine and rare example of a Victorian silver tea caddy spoon with all over elaborate raised decoration. A basket of flowers can be found to both the inside and reverse side of the bowl. The front terminal has a vacant cartouche and the reverse side has the depiction of a saint holding a staff - possibly St. Christopher. This is an excellent spoon by one of the premier makers and it benefits from being in first class crisp condition.
