Teastrainer - Arts & Crafts Floral Trellis - London 1937 by Francis Cooper - 125mm long; 32g - Ref. No.: FB/1487

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

A truly beautiful silver tea strainer by a rarely found silversmith. This tea strainer has a wonderful openwork handle with foliage climbing up trellis work and terminating in a vibrant flower head. The octagonal bowl is attractively pierced and the whole is in great condition.

The hallmarks include a rare "FC" in script mark which belonged to Francis Cooper - the son of the famous John Paul Cooper who was especially note for his shagreen work.
