Teaspoon - Hanoverian pattern: 'Agricultural Implements' picture-back - London c.1775 by William Sumner & Richard Crossley - 125mm long; 11 grams - Ref. No.: CF/2612

Sorry, this item is out of stock.

This is a scarce Georgian silver teaspoon with a die-struck agricultural implements motif to the reverse of the bowl. The motif is in relatively good order, although as can be seen in the photos there is some wear to the detail. The spoon bears bottom-struck marks with the top half of the "WS/RC" makers mark for the partnership of Sumner & Crossley enabling an accurate dating. The condition is generally good with a full bowl, but some pitting on the bowl and front and reverse sides of the stem.
