Aberdeen Town Mark Table Spoon

Sold
Table Spoon - Old English Pattern - Aberdeen circa 1790 by James Erskine - 21.4cm long; 62g - DQ/9112
For Scottish provincial silver, Aberdeen made silver is relatively common, however the presence of the three towers town mark is much less so. This Old English pattern table spoon made by James Erskine bears a good example of the three towers mark in addition to the "IE" makers mark and a letter "k".
The spoon is in excellent condition with an original script letter "B" to the terminal.
