This is a fabulous quality Georgian silver tea service in superb condition. The set comprises a good sized teapot coffee or hot water jug, milk or cream jug, sugar bowl and slop bowl.

This tea set displays all the aspects one would expect from a top of the range Regency service: heavy weight, gadroon borders, gilt interiors to milk, sugar and slop bowls, flush hinges and ivory handles and finials to tea and coffee pots. The acanthus leaf decoration around the spouts and handles is first rate. Each piece is engraved with the same crest of an arm holding a dagger and rising from a castle turret. The condition is superb with good crisp decoration, fine gilding, no dents nor repairs and the usual shrinkage cracks one would expect with ivory handles.
