Hanoverian Rattail Pattern Silver Cutlery

Dating from the early 18th century, Hanoverian Rattail is the oldest of the main flatware designs for antique silver cutlery. The standard pattern has a central ridge down the front stem and a distinctive rat-tail on the reverse of the spoon bowls. Forks can either be 3-pronged or 4-pronged and the accompanying knives either Hanoverian or Pistol-grip.

Our huge stock spans the entire production period of this pattern and we can make bespoke 18th century services or supply modern sets loose or in boxes.
