This is a particularly fine and rare silver caddy spoon from Hilliard & Thomason's Birmingham workshop.
The handle is formed as a water lily tendril with three lily pads, whilst the bowl is a gilt shell and the combination being an unusual version of H&T's highly popular naturalistic series of caddy spoons. The hallmarks are located on the lily pad to the terminal and the condition is excellent with neither damage nor repair.
