Toddy Ladle - Oar pattern - Banff circa 1795 by David Izat - 16cm long; 28g - HS/1718
This is an excellent Scottish provincial silver toddy ladle made in the northern town of Banff by David Izat. This Oar pattern ladle is engraved with a letter "H" and is stamped twice to the reverse side with the distinctive "DI" mark of the maker and by two unidentified marks. The ladle remains in fine condition.
